How does funding work?

This search facility can explain how the government may be able to assist your development. It is really important to understand that any money made available will go directly to your chosen course provider. In most cases this will only be for part of the course fee and so you will need to pay the balance.

It is always a good idea to speak to your course provider to confirm all details. They will be able to tell you when and how to pay for your course.

Funding Advice

The government can fully or partly subsidise the cost of many courses at colleges and training organisations (providers). This subsidy is paid directly to the provider, with any balance of the course fee paid for by you, the learner. This is the amount the provider will ask you to pay when you enrol on a course.
