Open a Lifelong Learning Account

Before you start using the CV Builder we recommend you register for a Lifelong Learning Account. You will then be able to save your CV online and access it whenever and wherever you need to.

The Lifelong Learning Account is:

  • free
  • quick to open - it only takes a few minutes
  • secure and easy to access
  • an online space where you can save your Skills Health Check, CVs, Action plans and Course searches’

Use our step-by-step CV Builder to create a great CV from scratch:

Remember you need to be signed in to your Lifelong Learning Account if you want to store your CV.

Please be aware that if the CV Builder is left unused for 30 minutes, all information will be lost. This procedure is in place for security reasons. To avoid losing work, please log in or open a Lifelong Learning Account, and use the ‘Save your CV’ buttons on the right hand side of the screen. You can only save your CV if you have an account and are logged in.
