The National Careers Service provides you with information, advice and guidance to help you make better and informed decisions on a full range of learning, training and work opportunities.

We offer helpful and impartial advice and our qualified careers advisers are always here to help.

Of course, everything is confidential.

We believe that everyone has the ability and potential to develop and grow in their life and their career, but we understand that sometimes things can go off course, and sometimes maybe even hold you back, but we're here to help you identify and overcome any barriers, whatever they may be giving you the best chance of unlocking your true potential.

Our expert advisers are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and impartial, what's more they will help empower you so you can make your own career and learning choices.

Our aim is to inspire and motivate you by giving you the right information and guidance.

We can help you take control of your learning and working life, we can offer advice on a wide range of learning and work topics, we can help you explore which careers would suit you best, provide tips on searching for a job and even help to improve your interview skills.

You can access our service online through this website or through our telephone helpline.

We also offer a community based face-to-face service.

Our service is freely available for people living in England.

We have bi-lingual advisers offering information, advice and guidance in eight different languages.

Typetalk and minicom are available if you have a hearing impairment and wish to contact an adviser.
