Types of learning

Learning for leisure

If you haven’t done any learning for a while, you might want to start with a leisure course. You can do a course on local history, crafts, or photography as well as many more. Learning like this gives you the chance to find out what you enjoy, to meet new people and to feel more confident.

Leisure courses take place in colleges, adult learning centres, libraries and lots of other places. It’s a great way to help you move on in life and work. You can find out more about this type of learning on the Directgov site, or search for a course on the School of Everything website.
