If you email us with careers enquiries, we will reply to you within 24 hours.
You can text for simple information like telephone numbers or addresses. If you want more in-depth information and advice, ring us on 0800 100 900, tell the adviser your mobile number and we will call you back. Our careers chat rooms are fully moderated to ensure online safety. Please do not attempt to post any personal details in the chat, as other chat room users can view the messages posted on the site. If you need advice that is not related to the careers topic of the day, you can contact an adviser separately through webchat, email, telephone or SMS text message.
Before you call
Calls can take up to 30 minutes, depending on what you want to talk about. To make the most of your time, here are some useful things you can do to prepare beforehand:
- think about what you want to get out of the call, for example have you a specific question in mind or are you looking for more general advice?
- set aside enough time to talk
- phone from a place where it's not too noisy
- have a pen and paper ready to write down any points, names or phone numbers you may be given.
