Some student loans have been sold by the government and transferred to two private companies to administer:

• Thesis Servicing
  

If this applies to any of your student loans, and you need to speak to someone about them, you should contact the company who is responsible for their administration - not the Student Loans Company.

Appealing against a decision by Student Finance England

Student Finance England handles applications for new students starting a course from the 2009/10 academic year onwards.

Making a formal complaint

If Student Finance England or the Student Loans Company fails to sort out a problem you have, you can make a formal complaint. Formal complaints can be made to the Student Loans Company.
