Car drivers: Pass Plus scheme

You can take a Pass Plus course at any time after passing your practical driving test. However, it's mainly aimed at new drivers in the first year after passing their test.

The course can help you:

• become more confident on the roads
• build on your existing skills and knowledge
• learn how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards

A number of organisations offer an advanced test. They should be able to offer you training and advice on how best to prepare.

The Driving Standards Agency has approved and monitors advanced driving tests offered by these organisations.

Motorcycle riders: enhanced rider scheme

The enhanced rider scheme is for riders with a full motorcycle licence.

The enhanced rider scheme is ideal for you if you have:

• just passed your test
• returned to biking after a break
• upgraded to a bigger bike

As the training is tailored to your needs, you do as little or as much training as you need.
