Apply for a vehicle licence refund (form V14)

Use form V14 to apply to return your vehicle licence (tax disc) and claim a refund if you are taking your vehicle off the road or selling it.

How to use this service

To apply for your refund, fill in and download the form V14 ‘Application for a refund of vehicle tax when you have the tax disc’. Once you have filled in the form online you should:

print and sign your form
attach your tax disc
post to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1AL
