Problems with public transport

If you find getting around your local area a bit tough and have an idea about how to make it better, contact your local authority. Transport planners should check with young people to see what types of public transport they need and change their plans if they’re not working.

You may want to suggest:

• building a website that shows what’s going on in your area and how you can get there
• giving young people discounts on local buses, trains and taxis
• ways that public transport could be made safer for young people
