Simple Payment is a way for people who don’t have an account to collect benefit, pension or child maintenance payments. You collect your payments from a PayPoint outlet that displays the Simple Payment sign. Find out more, including how to find a PayPoint outlet displaying the Simple Payment sign in your area.
When your benefit, pension or child maintenance payment is due, take your Simple Payment card to a PayPoint outlet displaying the Simple Payment sign. Your payment will be available for collection there.
To collect a payment, you’ll need to give your card and confirm your memorable date. You’ll also need to provide some identification. This could be a:

PayPoint outlets are found in local newsagents, convenience stores or supermarkets. You can only use a PayPoint outlet that displays the Simple Payment sign - not all PayPoint outlets will display the Simple Payment sign.

If different people collect your payments for you, you will have to give them your own Simple Payment card to use each time. You will also need to give them your memorable date. They will have to show your proof of identity, as well as their own.
