Difficulties using the service

If you are having difficulty understanding the questions and what you are required to do or you are struggling to use the service you can find the help you need below.

Timeout

If you have received a 'timeout' message it is because:

  • your computer has been inactive for more than 20 minutes
  • you have bookmarked a page within the service (for security purposes you have to return to the start)

Helpdesks

If you are having difficulties using the service please contact either the information helpdesk or the technical helpdesk depending on your situation.

Information Helpdesk

If you are having difficulty understanding the questions and what information is required:

Contact the Information Helpdesk

Call the information helpdesk on 0845 604 3349.

If you have speech or hearing difficulties and use a textphone call 0845 604 0523.

If your first language is not English, a telephone interpreting service can be made available on request.

The information helpdesk is open Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. (Lines are normally less busy between 8.00 am and 9.00 am)

The helpdesk is closed on all bank and public holidays.

Technical Helpdesk

Contact the technical helpdesk if you are having technical difficulties using this service. Some of the problems you may have are:

  • navigating around the service
  • printing a copy of your results
  • any other technical problems using the service

Call the technical helpdesk on 0845 601 8040.

If you have speech or hearing difficulties and use a textphone call the technical helpdesk on 0845 601 8039.

If your first language is not English, a telephone interpreting service can be made available on request.

The technical helpdesk is open Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 9.00 pm, weekends from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.

The helpdesk is closed on all bank and public holidays.
