Job description The Company:

The UEA Student Enterprise and Employability Development Team is part of the wider Careers and Employability function. It focuses on creating opportunities which allow students to acquire a wide range of key skills that could help them to not only become more employable, but also equip them to launch exciting new ventures.

The Project:

They are currently looking for a graduate to support them in creating a new data collection and evaluation system for events across the department.

The intern will assist the team to create surveys / evaluations aimed at a wide range of stakeholders, test them in the field, and then review / develop them as necessary.

The Role:

You will be asked to support the team with the following tasks:

* Questionnaire and survey design
* Testing and evaluation of materials
* Associated paperwork linked to these activities
* Supporting the events team to deliver events as necessary
Person requirements * Experience and/or an understanding of survey design and evaluation methodologies both qualitative and quantitative
* Experience and/or an understanding of analysing statistical data
* Experience and/or an understanding of analysing qualitative data
* Detail orientated
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Strong core IT skills (word-processing, spread sheets etc.)
* Ideally a familiarity with on-line survey systems

The graduate will gain vital hands-on experience of creating and delivering evaluation systems, surveys and questionnaires which could influence the department's future strategy and also be a tangible addition to your CV.

You will be involved in planning and delivering events which will help you develop your project management, communication and interpersonal skills.

Duration of Internship: 12 weeks / 32 hours per week

This is a paid internship at £6.08 an hour (subject to tax and NI) - rising to £6.19 an hour from 1 October 2023 (subject to tax and NI).
Degree requirements A degree awarded from a recognised university is required.
