Personality disorder is a condition that you may need to tell the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) about. Telling DVLA will depend on whether your condition affects your ability to drive safely.
If your personality disorder does not affect your safe driving
You do not need to tell DVLA.
If your personality disorder affects your safe driving
You will need to tell DVLA.
If you are unsure whether your personality disorder affects your safe driving
You will need to check with your doctor or consultant who will be able to advise you.
If you need to tell DVLA please download the medical questionnaire 'M1' and send it to DVLA.
