Aneurysm is a condition that you need to tell the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) about. Find out which questionnaire you need to complete for the driving licence you hold.
If you hold a car or motorcycle driving licence you will need to tell DVLA if you suffer from either of these medical conditions.
Aortic aneurysm
DVLA will only need to be told if the aortic aneurysm is over 6 cm in diameter, despite treatment. If you are unsure whether you need to tell DVLA, you can check with you doctor or consultant who will be able to advise you.
To tell DVLA please download the medical questionnaire 'H1' and send it to DVLA.
Brain aneurysm
To tell DVLA please download the medical questionnaire 'B1' and send it to DVLA.
If you hold a bus, coach or lorry driving licence you will need to tell DVLA if you suffer from either of these medical conditions.
Aortic aneurysm
To tell DVLA please download the medical questionnaire 'VOCH1' and send it to DVLA.
Brain aneurysm
To tell DVLA please download the medical questionnaire 'B1' and send it to DVLA.
