Glaucoma is a condition that you may need to tell the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) about. Find out which questionnaire you need to complete for the driving licence you hold.
If glaucoma only affects one eye
If glaucoma only affects one eye - you will not need to tell DVLA about your medical condition provided you have no medical condition in the other eye.
For future reference you may wish to download the vision information leaflet 'VIS1'.
If glaucoma affects both eyes
If glaucoma affects both eyes - you will need to tell DVLA about your medical condition.
To tell DVLA please download the medical questionnaire 'V1' and send to DVLA.
If you hold a bus, coach or lorry driving licence - you will need to tell DVLA about your medical condition.
To tell DVLA please download the medical questionnaire 'V1V' and send to DVLA.
You can send your completed questionnaire to DVLA by fax or post.
