Broken limbs and driving

If you have broken a limb you do not need to tell the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) about it.

In the interests of road safety you must be sure at all times that you can safely control a motor vehicle. You should check your insurance cover to see if there are any restrictions about driving with a broken limb.
