The Legal Ombudsman is a free and independent service that investigates complaints about lawyers registered in England and Wales.

If you have a problem with the service provided by your lawyer, you should first complain directly to them. If you're still not satisfied, the Legal Ombudsman may be able to help you sort out your complaint.
