British Paralympic Association

The British Paralympic Association is the body responsible for selecting, preparing, entering, funding and managing Britain's teams at the Paralympic Games and Paralympic Winter Games. The Paralympic Games are for athletes with physical and visual disabilities. This includes athletes with mobility disabilities, amputations, blindness, and cerebral palsy. The games are designed to emphasise the participants' athletic achievements, not their disability.
