Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Education is an executive agency responsible for evaluating the quality of pre-school education, all schools, teacher education, community learning and development, further education and local authorities in Scotland. It publish reports of interest to the public and professionals about services for children and evaluates child protection services. It also gives professional advice needed to support the development of educational policy. All its inspection reports are published on its website.
