Offenders' Families Helpline

The Offenders’ Families Helpline provides information, support and a listening ear for anyone who is affected by the imprisonment of a close family member or friend. It is a free and confidential service, and includes information and guidance about prisons in England and Wales. It can also link callers with services and local support groups in their area. Information sheets covering topics such as tagging, sentence calculation, help with travel costs and talking to children about imprisonment are available to download or print.
