Environment Agency

The Environment Agency is a non-departmental public body of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and an Assembly Sponsored Public Body of the National Assembly for Wales. It works to protect the environment in England and Wales from threats such as flood and pollution and to enhance the environment taken as a whole.
